Sibenik The town of Šibenik, which was first mentioned in history 1066 during the reign of King Peter Krešimir IV, is the capital of the county Šibensko-kninska županija that has around 152 000 inhabitants in 12 municipalities, 194 districts and 5 towns. Šibenik has around 56 000 inhabitants.

Paklenica National park

Paklenica National Park spreads on an area of the coastal slope of southern Velebit, just above the village Marasovići, to the zone of the highest peaks (Vaganski vrh, Babin vrh, Sveto Brdo).

Vrana Lake Nature Park

s one of the rarest untouched natural habitats of birds, with springs of water and an area of distinct specificities and biodiversity, in July 1999 Vrana Lake and the surrounding area was declared a nature park.
